Unfurnished Space Photos

Image

Dear friends.  Here are images of the condo without any of the furniture.  It is a gorgeous space.  I hope you will enjoy these photos.

Welcome to my Virginia Highland Historic Rental Property – (Photos Below)

My historic Atlanta condominium is available in the quaint Virginia Highland neighborhood – for at least a year lease – while I am working on the West Coast.   My job has taken me to the Bay Area and I am looking for a responsible tenant or couple to occupy my home while I am gone.

Built in 1911, this historic Atlanta building was refurbished into condos in the mid-80′s.  Today, this one bedroom, one bath home features a ground level porch overlooking the beautiful landscaped courtyard.

The neighbors are predominantly owners and provide for a friendly and safe living atmosphere.

… My unit features a fireplace with gas logs, hardwood floors, 9.5 foot ceilings, custom bookshelves, french doors, washer/ dryer in the unit, central heat and air, dishwasher and alarm system….  PLUS a dedicated parking spot behind the unit.  This is key for the neighborhood!  The unit will be unfurnished when you rent.

Located near the corner of St. Charles and North Highland Avenue, all of the best shops, coffee shops, restaurants and bars are right outside you door.  You literally don’t have to drive to find a thing.  Even a grocery store and movie theatre are across the block from here.

Take a lot at these photos and contact me at lewis@lewisperkins.com if interested.  Or you can call me at 404-625-8977.

Our wonderful Colonnades

This early 20th century condo is one of Atlanta’s most unique and eclectic buildings.  Located in the Virginia Highland Neighborhood, this gem is in excellent condition both inside and out.  Here you enjoy the gardens and community gas grill, composting on site and close proximity to all the great shops, bars and restaurants of Virginia Highland.  This  makes The Colonnade an ideal living arrangement for anyone looking to have a convenient and central location with all the comfort and amenities.  We are close to Emory University, Inman Park Marta Station and 2 miles from downtown.  If you want charm with in-town convenience,  look no further……

(You may recognize this courtyard scene from the 2010 film “Life As We Know It” with Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel.   They filmed on the block and in our courtyard….)

Neighbors and Hand in Hand Pubs, right next doors….  Plaza Movie Theatre, Urban Outfitters and a Publix Grocery Store across the street.  Close to Poncey Highland and Inman Park.   And for the runners out there (or those with pets), Olmstead Park is a block away and connects to Candler and Freedom Parks.

Belly General Stores, Bill Hallman, Van Michael Salon and more … all a block away.

This is the best room in the place, the front porch.  Dining, reading or even yoga…  this porch is usable year round with the outstanding Atlanta climate.

This is the perfect patio to practice a little morning yoga or mediate.

Bath and Kitchen

Galley kitchen is stocked and perfect for cooking meals with friends or creating your own recipe.  Back kitchen door opens to fire escape and private parking spot.  Kitchen included dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and all other necessary amenities.   Bottled water container makes for a perfect cold glass of water or hot tea.

Hallway between bath, sunroom, kitchen and front rooms of condo.

Recently tiled bathroom with super hot and cold water and large shower head with great pressure.

Back sunroom doubles as my office with more bookshelf space.  French casement windows let in all the  wonderful afternoon light.

Living Room

This is the living room.   You are looking at the front door with entrance off common hall.  Two doors to get through make for a more secure home.   The windows across the front of the room look out into the gorgeous courtyard.   Custom bookshelves house books and other collectibles.   Comfortable seating and small dining table with four upholstered dining chairs.  Rugs on floors are calfskin.

View of table and chairs and french doors to patio into the courtyard.

Upright Piano, Fireplace with easy to use gas logs (really heats up the room) and leather seat.

Custom bookshelves with wonderful books and leather seat.

Another view of piano and pier mirror looking into den on left and bedroom/ hallway on right. Notice the small dining table can double as a desk to take advantage of the morning light and beautiful view into the courtyard.

Tuned piano is a added treat for music lovers.
